We been back in Casablanca for over a month and I’ve only posted here once! I’ve completely fallen off the wagon on this space, and if I’m being honest I’ve been feeling a bit uninspired. But I think I’m beginning to get my grove back so hopefully a more regular posting schedule is on its way!
Both kids are in school all day five days a week and on the whole really loving it. We are all still adjusting to a morning routine that involves getting everyone except me out the door by 7:30am, and I’m still adjusting to filling my days while they are gone. Somehow I’m still not getting through everything I want to get done! 😂 How is that possible when I have all day to do it?
In other news Patrick turned six! How is that even possible? Where did the time go? And a million other questions along that same train of thought. We had cupcakes with classmates at school on his actual birthday.
Then a party with friends at home over the weekend.
David even did a juggling/ magic show at the party!
David and I were just talking last night about how ordinary a life can be on the inside, when it looks so exotic from the outside. That seems to be the all encompassing thought for our lives right now. From the outside I can imagine it might seem exotic we live in Casablanca Morocco, get to travel frequently, etc, but when you look at it from the inside it’s just normal life. our kids go to school, and have birthday parties, David goes to work, and I still have to take care of running our home. It’s not a 24/7 vacation. We mostly do the same things we would if we lived in the states, we just happen to be doing them on a different continent.
